The primary function of the Board is to uphold and support the vision, mission, core values, and philosophy of True North Classical Academy. Board members are volunteers who are committed to the success of the school and give their time to direct and lead the organization.

Luis E. Diaz, CPA, Board Chairman
Partner, Sharff, Wittmer, Kurtz, Jackson & Diaz, PA
Luis E. Diaz, CPA, is the Managing Partner at the 60‐year‐old Coral Gables firm of Sharff, Wittmer, Kurtz, Jackson & Diaz, P.A. (SWKJD) and is deeply involved in the community. Mr. Diaz served as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees of St. Philips Episcopal Church and School from 2007-2012. He also served on the University of Miami Citizens Advisory Board, Board of Trustees of the Miami Science Museum and the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Early Learning Coalition of Miami‐ Dade/Monroe. Mr. Diaz attended Florida International University, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Accounting. Given his substantive experience in education and business he serves as the Chairperson of the Governing Board of True North Classical Academy.

Rodolfo L. Pages has over 25 years of direct private wealth management and investment banking experience. Serving as the Head of Sales for Latin America at The Standard Chartered Private Bank and Chief Executive Officer of Stanchart Securities International Inc. Prior to Standard Chartered, Rodolfo was the Chief Investment Specialist for the Global Wealth Management division of American Express Bank. Rodolfo earned both his Bachelors of Science in System Analysis (with Honors) and his Master’s in Business Administration specializing in Finance/Public Administration from the University of Miami. He has been active in community affairs chairing a number of boards at several South Florida municipalities and has been advocating children’s causes for years through his involvement with the Pediatric Associates Foundation.
Ernesto Rodriguez Jr., P.E.
Vice President of Engineering, Wiginton Fire Protection Engineering, Inc.
Ernie Rodriguez is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Florida with over 20 years of experience in life safety and fire protection. He earned his Bachelors of Science Degree from University of Miami. Ernie is a lifelong resident of South Florida and is active in helping the community through local charities. He has an abiding passion for the aspects of antiquity and philosophy which served to shape western civilization.
Kent (Pete) Windhorst
Principal and Chief Financial Officer
Pete Windhorst has served as a Principal and Chief Financial Officer since 1995. Prior to Collins Capital, Mr. Windhorst was a partner and the Chief Financial Officer of Intercap Investments, Inc., a diversified investment company, and GCA, a real estate company. His career spans over three decades of financial and accounting experience with both public and private companies. Mr. Windhorst received his B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska.
Jose Felix Diaz
Jose Felix Diaz was born and raised in Miami-Dade County (FL). Representative Diaz began a lifelong commitment to leadership and public service. He attended the University of Miami where he graduated with honors while serving as the President of Student Government his senior year. His accomplishments and academics earned him the Florida College Student of the Year award. Representative Diaz was then admitted to Columbia University School of Law where he earned his law degree. He continued his commitment to public service while in law school serving as a Senator in Student Government and representing law students as a member of the American Bar Association’s legislative body, achieving several notable distinctions including the ABA’s Silver Key. Upon graduation, he returned to Miami earning admission to the Florida Bar in 2005 and joining the law firm of Akerman LLP. His practice includes litigation, land use and zoning. Representative Diaz served on the ABA House of Delegates, the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the CHARLEE Homes for Children, the largest foster care agency in Florida and the Board of Directors of the Cuban American Bar Association. In November 2010, Representative Diaz was elected to the Florida House of Representatives where he passed significant reforms in child welfare, growth management, and energy policy.
